 At our mining facilities near Sheridan, Arkansas, Sheridan White Rock mines a unique deposit of a white quartz rock deposited in this location by glaciers. Bulk materials are sold for landscape or architectural purposes, including white sand for swimming beaches, golf courses and masonry work, roofing aggregates, materials for exposed aggregate precast work, and landscaping ground cover and is sold to markets that use it for its high silica content such as silica steel and computer chips. Our material is available in the following sizes: 2” – 1 ¼”, 1 ¼” – ½”, ½” – ¾”, 5/16” – ½”, as well as masonry sand.
